Shelia McDaniels
Proud Leader, Lifelong Educator, and Advocate for Student Success
Mrs. McDaniels is a passionate educator and proud HBCU graduate with a strong STEM background and an unwavering commitment to student achievement.
Mrs. McDaniels began her career in education in 2009 as a mathematics teacher in Augusta, Georgia, and later continued serving students and families in Texas. Now entering her 18th year in education, she previously served as principal of KIPP 3D Academy and KIPP Intrepid Preparatory, where she led academic growth, strengthened school culture, and built strong family partnerships. Previously, she served 7 years in Pasadena ISD at Pasadena HS teaching math, curriculum writing, and AP Stats lead.
She is dedicated to creating a joyful, rigorous, and inclusive learning environment where every student thrives and feels valued. Mrs. McDaniels looks forward to partnering with staff, students, and families to build on the school’s success and make the upcoming year exceptional.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in Chemistry from Paine College, a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, and later a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.

Assistant Principals

Alicia Johnson, M.Ed.
12th Grade - Seniors
Mrs. Johnson is honored to be serving her fourth year as an administrator at Trimble Tech High School. Her roots in education run deep, she began her schooling at Western Hills, attending from kindergarten through third grade, and later graduated from Weatherford ISD. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University and continued her journey at Sul Ross University, where she received her Master’s in Educational Leadership. When she isn’t on campus, Mrs. Johnson enjoys being outdoors, cheering from the sidelines as she coaches her son’s soccer team, and relaxing with a good book. A lifelong learner at heart, Mrs. Johnson’s mission is to inspire every student she encounters and continue growing as a leader who makes a real difference in the lives of others. She practices an open-door policy and is always ready to support students, making sure they feel welcomed, valued, and heard. One of her guiding beliefs comes from her favorite quote by Jane Nelsen: “Children will listen to you after they feel listened to.”
Her Philosophy
Mrs. Johnson believes it’s a privilege to know her actions have the power to shape the future of students. That knowledge fuels her to help students and families grow together. She focuses on clear, thoughtful communication and reminds herself daily that every behavior is a form of communication. With this mindset, she works to create an environment built on trust, respect, and the belief that every student has the ability to succeed.

Natasha M. Martin, M.S.
11th Grade - Juniors
Ms. Martin is excited to join the Trimble Tech administrative team and Bulldog family. She is a traditionally trained career educator entering her 21st year in education, with a career dedicated to empowering students and supporting teachers. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with a certification in Family Consumer Sciences from Kansas State University in 2005 and immediately began her career in Fort Worth ISD as a high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher. She later earned a master's degree in Family Studies and Human Services with an emphasis in Youth Development from Kansas State University in 2016.
While teaching in Del Valle, Texas, she was selected for Del Valle ISD's principal preparation program cohort and subsequently completed her Principal Certification through Texas State University. During her 16 years in the classroom, she developed a passion for preparing students for success beyond high school through meaningful learning experiences, career readiness, and strong relationships. After returning to North Texas, Ms. Martin served as an instructional coach and CTE Specialist, where she supported teacher development, strengthened instructional practices, and helped drive student achievement across multiple campuses. These experiences reinforced her belief that investing in educators creates lasting opportunities for students.

Ms. Martin believes that every student deserves access to high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and pathways that lead to post-secondary success. She is committed to fostering a culture of high expectations, collaboration, and support, where students, staff, and families work together to ensure every learner has the opportunity to thrive.

Danielle L. Taylor, Ed.D.
10th Grade - Sophomores
Dr. Danielle L. Taylor is a career-long educator with 25 years of experience dedicated to student success and school leadership. A native of South Louisiana, she earned her bachelor’s degree in English and History from the University of Mississippi. After several years of teaching middle and high school English, she pursued her Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University. While serving as an assistant principal in the Houston area, Dr. Taylor further advanced her studies and earned a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Concordia University in 2017. Most recently, she led a K–8 turnaround school in San Diego, California, as principal before joining the Bulldog family in 2024 and becoming part of the Fort Worth community.
Her Philosophy
Dr. Taylor’s educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that preparing young lives for a future of enlistment, employment, or enrollment is both an immense responsibility and a vital opportunity to strengthen the community for all. She believes this preparation is most effective when grounded in compassion, high standards of excellence, and respect for each child’s unique strengths and cultural influences. Dr. Taylor firmly believes that every child, parent, staff, and community member matters, and that every moment to make a positive impact counts.

Sandra Mejia, M.Ed.
9th Grade - Freshmen
Ms. Mejia is a dedicated educator proudly serving as the 9th Grade Assistant Principal at Trimble Tech High School. Now in her third year at Trimble Tech, she is proud to be part of the Bulldog Family. She is often heard asking, “How can I help?” or “¿Cómo puedo ayudar?” a reflection of her heart for service and dedication to students, staff, and families. The first in her family to attend and graduate from college, Ms. Mejia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas, followed by a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Principal Certification from the University of North Texas at Dallas. Her passion for education is deeply rooted in both her professional journey and her family. She takes pride in the accomplishments of her children, who have graduated from esteemed institutions such as the University of Southern California, and Pepperdine University. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, reading, listening to music, shopping and attending soccer and social events. Her favorite quote, which inspires both her work and her life, is: “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela
