Bulldog Crew

Camp Director: Manny Ortiz

Bulldog Crew is Trimble Tech High School’s peer leadership program designed to make every incoming 9th grader, as well as new 10th graders, feel welcomed, supported, and ready to tackle their first year. Our Bulldog Crew are upperclassmen leaders who step up to serve as mentors, role models, and guides, helping freshmen navigate campus, build friendships, and develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Bulldog Crew lead orientation activities, team-building exercises, and fun events throughout the year, making sure no freshman feels lost or left out. They’re the friendly faces who answer questions, give advice, and help students feel confident as they adjust to high school life.

Being a Bulldog Crew Leader is more than just a role, it’s a commitment. Counselors attend a mandatory three-day Leadership Training where they learn leadership strategies, mentorship skills, and ways to create a positive and inclusive environment. They also take part in Freshmen Orientation, putting their training into action by helping freshmen feel connected, welcomed, and empowered from day one.

The reason why Bulldog Crew’s colors are not green and white is that navy and yellow are colors students typically don’t wear at Trimble Tech, making it easy for freshmen and new 10th graders to spot a Bulldog Crew Leader. Standing out as a leader is essential because it builds trust, inspires teams, and fosters a positive school culture. By being visible and approachable, counselors model leadership qualities such as empathy, integrity, and clear communication. Leaders who stand out not only gain recognition but also create opportunities for growth within their teams, help others navigate challenges, and drive meaningful change. In essence, the distinctive colors of Bulldog Crew symbolize visibility, accountability, and the commitment to positively shape the freshman and sophomore experience at Trimble Tech.

Joining Bulldog Crew means making a difference, building leadership skills, and being part of a team that truly shapes the freshman experience. It’s about creating memories, forming connections, and leaving a legacy of Bulldog pride.
